About the Item

Fabergé egg object of art, 18-carat yellow gold, blue guilloché enamel with paillons, ruby cabochon 0.75 ct. This exquisite Fabergé egg, crafted entirely from solid gold by Workmaster Victor Mayer around 1995, is a true masterpiece of artistry and craftsmanship. Inspired by the legendary imperial eggs, it embodies both opulence and refinement, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. The egg's surface is adorned with delicate paillons, fine golden ornaments embedded beneath layers of rich, translucent enamel, creating a radiant, shimmering effect. At the very top, a single ruby cabochon serves as a striking focal point, adding a touch of deep red brilliance to the golden composition. Designed as an elegant presentation piece, the egg consists of two halves that fit seamlessly together, allowing it to be opened and closed with precision. Inside, the upper half is lined with royal blue silk, featuring a finely executed golden imprint of the Russian double-headed eagle, a symbol of imperial heritage. The lower half, also lined with luxurious blue silk, holds a delicately shaped indentation, designed to cradle a ring, gemstone, or another precious keepsake, transforming the egg into a magnificent gift box. Accompanying this extraordinary creation is a golden stand, also crafted by Victor Mayer for Fabergé, perfectly complementing the egg and enhancing its regal presentation. Both the egg and its stand bear the esteemed Fabergé signature and the mark of Victor Mayer, underscoring their authenticity and the unparalleled craftsmanship that defines this remarkable work of art. Reference: F1084/BL/00/01/102_F1112/00/00/00/102 Workmaster: Victor Mayer Material: 750/- yellow gold (18k) Dimensions: height 7 cm - diameter: 4 cm Vitreous enamel: Translucent royal blue Gemstone: 1 ruby cabochon 0.75 ct About the Fabergé Workmaster VICTOR MAYER VICTOR MAYER has been crafting exceptional jewelry for Fabergé for over three decades. The collaboration began in 1990, and from 1990 to 2009, VICTOR MAYER held the exclusive worldwide license to create Fabergé jewels and objets d’art, upholding the legacy of the historic Fabergé workmasters. Even today, VICTOR MAYER continues to produce exquisite jewelry for Fabergé, London, preserving its reputation as a trusted and valued partner in the creation of extraordinary pieces. About vitreuos enamel: The inimitably luminous colours are literally created "in the fire": layer by layer, enamel is carefully fired in at 800 degrees Celsius. During guilloching, the finest wave patterns are engraved into the gold, creating a unique depth effect. Vitreous means made of glass: the ancient technique is almost forgotten today and Victor Mayer is perhaps the last manufac-tory to master it at the highest level. About gold paillons: Paillons are shaped emblems of gold foil. They are fused to a pre-fired enamel grounding and coated with clear enamels. This creates an illusion of chased metal inside the enamel. Paillons are made as small pre-shaped motifs, with a slight relief. Victor Mayer is one of the very few specialist workshops with suitable equipment and the expertise to make Paillons today. About guilloché: Guilloché refers to a class of enamel with abstract geometric patterns cut into the surface of precious metals and showing clearly through the overlying glaze. The manner in which the design is engraved into the metal increases the luminous quality and play of colours in the translucent glaze when the object is rotated to catch the light. This exceptional piece is currently in stock and available for immediate shipment. The Fabergé egg will be presented in its original Fabergé box, ensuring a luxurious and authentic experience.

Fabergé Pill Box 18K Yellow Gold Green Enamel 12 Diamonds and 16 Rubies
By Fabergé
Located in Pforzheim, DE
Fabergé Limited Edition Pill Box 18K Yellow Gold, Vitreous Green Enamel, Diamonds 0.30 ct G VS, Rubies 0.48ct This piece is an original modern Fabergé creation, crafted in 18k gold by the master artisans of Victor Mayer in Pforzheim, Germany. Victor Mayer, who held the exclusive Fabergé license from 1989 to 2009 and continues to produce objects and jewelry for Fabergé to this day, is renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and faithful adherence to the illustrious Fabergé tradition. The exterior features a vivid green guilloché enamel. Guilloché is a technique where intricate, repeating patterns are engine-turned into the underlying metal; when covered with translucent enamel and fired, these engraved patterns shimmer beneath the glass-like surface. The result is a dynamic play of light and depth, with the green enamel glowing as it highlights the geometric motif beneath. Over this enamel surface, a raised latticework of gold “struts” is set at regular intervals, creating a trellis-like pattern. At each intersection, a gemstone is placed—alternating rubies and diamonds. The rubies, with their rich red hue, and the diamonds, with their brilliant sparkle, form a lively contrast against the green enamel and warm gold tones. Each stone is carefully set into the gold to ensure secure positioning and uniform alignment. Delicate rope-like gold borders and ornamental edging around the box add further intricacy and textural interest, emphasizing the level of detail that goes into such a piece. Supported by small, individually crafted gold feet, the box stands slightly elevated, suggesting a sense of grandeur and presence. Inspired by the lavish snuff boxes and treasure boxes of the 18th and 19th centuries, such a piece might have once held finely ground tobacco for aristocrats. Today, it could serve as a pill box or simply be cherished as a precious keepsake—an objet d’art that blends historical elegance with artisanal mastery. Though small and portable, this is far more than a container. It is a miniature work of art that embodies time-honored techniques, luxurious materials, and a heritage steeped in the tradition of Old World craftsmanship. It stands as a testament to the exquisite skill of those who created it, worthy of admiration in a collection or showcased as a decorative masterpiece. The stunning contemporary 18-carat gold Faberge Pill Box...
