A fine vintage 18 karat yellow gold brooch in the form of a poodle; part of our vintage jewelry and estate jewelry collections.
This fine 18k yellow gold brooch has been realistically modelled in the form of a poodle.
The poodle is further embellished with inset ruby eyes and a broad collar with link chain.
The poodle is secured to the reverse with a bar pin and safety catch.
The hallmarks struck to the underside of the poodle's body include the 18k fineness mark (18) (.750) and the London Import Hallmarks.

An interesting and unusual antique child’s teething rattle c.1800 formed of a piece of carved and polished rich orange coral (Corallium rubrum) mounted into a two-tone yellow gold rattle with mouth-piece formed of a whistle, the collar hung with six coral beads and round two gold bells and decorated with patterned bands. An objet de Vertu designed by Roberto Legnazzi.
An incredible over sized piece, created in Alessandria Italy at the jewelry atelier of Roberto Legnazzi, back in the 1970's. This is a fabulous objet de vertu piece to be exhibited in any desk or place. Has been carefully crafted with strong orientalism patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. It is embellished with a nice selection of calibrated white colorless diamonds and is mount with an incredible extra large piece of natural coral, carved with Japanese motifs and the figure of a standing Quan Yin. The blade is made in the shape of a samurai katana sword.
Diamonds: Mount in a flush setting, with 60 round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.82 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-2 Clarity.
Coral: Mount on top, with 1 piece of coral, carved with orientalism motifs.
Onyx: Accented with, 1 oval double cabochon cut carved from black onyx.
