About the Item
A stunning diamond cigar band from the Art Nouveau (ca1890s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, the front surface of this substantial ring is decorated with 1.35ctw of foil-backed rose cut diamonds. All of the diamonds display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The center diamond, which is bezel-set is substantially larger than the surrounding diamonds, which rest atop three-dimensional swirling foliage-motifs. The shoulders of the ring feature a highly-intricate floral-motif cutout design, and the back of the band features a subtle ribbed design. A gorgeous example of Art Nouveau-era craftsmanship, this ring would make a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The ring is a size 7.25, but could be resized slightly if desired. The band has a width of 8.45mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact, and all of the three-dimensional detailing is intact.
