Rusty Thought Opal Infinite Shield Ring 18k Yellow Gold Crossed Textured Bands

About the Item

Your personal talisman and protector, this "Infinite Shield" opal ring by Rusty Thought has an organic presence. The opal has beautiful flashes of green, blue and violet, with green the predominant color. The opal is set in a 18k gold shield centered on two textured, asymmetric gold bands. The bands cross in the back to envelope the finger. Size 6.5. Weighs a total of 2.13 grams. Opal cabochon measures approximately 4.2mm in diameter. About Rusty Thought: Created in Japan by artist Ryo Katori and his partner in their Tokyo studio. Rusty Thought's works express the contrast between texture & minimalism, skirting a line between touched by time & a found treasure, literally perfectly imperfect in that weird imbalance. Meant to show their individual patina over time as they change little by little with each day they are worn.
