Antique Edwardian GIA 2.87ctw OLD EUROPEAN Diamond Cocktail Cluster 14K Gold Platinum Ring, Circa 1900s.
This breathtakingly beautiful, darling, early-twentieth century Edwardian Flower shaped, Cluster Ring finely hand crafted in platinum over 14 karat yellow gold.
The Center Diamond is an OLD EUROPEAN Cut 1.66ct in J color, VS2 clarity, accompanied with GIA certificate #5222262312.
The measurements are 7.24x7.42x4.76mm. The diamond faces up very well and looks white in natural light , very clean and super brilliant. These Old Euro Rounds are so magical, they somehow mask any tint at this level, making them appear much whiter. The facets are large, chunky and beautiful and the brilliance is tantalizing.
It is framed with 11 twinkling OLD MINE and EURO cut Diamonds outlined with a scalloped border, estimated total weight is 1.21ct, I-J color, VS-SI clarity overall .
The total weight of the diamonds is 2.87cttw.
The ring is 12.15mm in Diameter-HUGE! You have a 6 carat solitaire look.
The width of the band tappers from 2.39 to 3.21 mm and the 7.13mm height.
Finger size is 6 1/2, easy to re-size, the weight is 3.37grams.

The ring is in very good antique condition. Overall light wear commensurate with age and use. All diamonds are present and appear original, the center diamond is in great condition with no wear to the girdle.. Very little wear to the setting in the form of minor abrasions and knicks to the metals, no apparent sign of repair to the mount except for the new 4 prongs around the center. The ring has being polished.
