About the Item

Likely two wedding bands made at about the same period and joined to make one. One is German of smaller size (Bride's) in 14K / hallmarked 585, MK / maker's hallmarks. Second (Groom's) has a set of Swedish hallmarks, 18K , date code is M8 / made in 1938. Continuous identical hand - engraved ornament on both rings. Note slight Gold color difference of the rings. Joined band is 4mm wide. Engraved : Maier 24/9 1938 24/12. Size: Ø 7.5 US / 17.97 mm. Weight: 5 gr. It's easy to guess its story in short. A symbol of Passion, Love and Hope.
