AJD Gorgeous Green Tourmaline and Diamond Dinner Ring
About the Item
Lovely Brazilian green Tourmaline and Diamond Dinner Ring. This gleaming green Tourmaline is enhanced with a halo of diamonds with more diamonds gracing the shank. The emerald cut bluish green Tourmaline is 8.25 x 7.5 MM and est 2 carats. The pave diamond halo, est 0.35 ctw, G/H color, SI 2 clarity. The 14K white gold hand made setting is a sizable 6.5. No changes by seller. Before scientists recognized it as a distinct stone in the 1800s, tourmaline had always been confused with rubies and emeralds because of its varying colors. There are very few other gems that can match up to the extraordinary colors of the tourmaline. The different colors of the stone have a different meaning. Black tourmaline is associated with self-confidence, pink with love and compassion, green with strength and courage and so on.
While tourmaline is not easily damaged by cleaning agents, it is best to clean it with a soft brush and a water and soap solution. Keep it away from heat.
