Steven Battelle 10.0 Carats Cabochon Pink Tourmaline Sterling 18K Gold Ring
About the Item
A lively and vibrant 12 x 17 mm pear shaped Mozambique pink tourmaline cabochon is held in a simple 18K gold bezel with additional 18k gold wire double bezel below, all atop a wide and tapered sterling silver shank textured with a hammered and slightly oxidized finish. If brighter silver is preferred, the oxidation can be easily removed (for a clean matte-finish) or it could be polished to a clean and shiny finish. This ring is currently sized 7.5. It could be resized within a few sizes. Simple, but very distinctive!

Steven Battelle
After a chance trip to SouthEast Asia in 1987, Steven Battelle became fascinated with the jewelry and iconology from the ancient cultures of Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Asia. Eventually forming a partnership with a dedicated group of Balinese village goldsmiths using painstaking handmade techniques, they together create unique designs that incorporate those timeless and classic motifs. He incorporates primarily cabochon gemstones as well as ancient Greek and Roman coins, each piece capturing the feelings of a bygone age. If you wish to create your own special piece, similar to a style we make, please let us know, and we'll see what we can do.
