Dog Signet Ring in 14k Gold, Substantial Art Nouveau Design

A lovely, one of a kind signet ring for a man or a woman, this beauty is both a substantial and elegant statement piece for the dog lover. Featuring an original Art Nouveau period plaque of a Retriever or Hound dog, the ring is 14K yellow gold, with a finished weight of 13.35 grams. The workmanship of the Art Nouveau plaque is fine, with the expressive dog’s face shown in the foreground against a landscape of water, bullrushes and trees. There is slight wear to the original bloomed high karat surface of the plaque, with just a bit of the rosier gold showing at the highest points. The face measures approximately 16.5 mm or a hair under 11/16 of an inch in diameter (it provides a lot of finger coverage) with a modest rise of approximately 3.5 mm. Strong and sturdy, the band has a soft knife edge style. A mark of "14K" is inside, at the shoulder of the ring. Currently fitting as a size 7, the ring may be sized up or down within reason. There is quite a bit of gold to work with for sizing upwards, though you may prefer to keep the gorgeous heft of the band by adding more gold at the back for larger sizes.
