About the Item
An elegant jewel, this ring was created from an antique button (circa 1900) and thoughtfully transformed with the addition of a custom 14k gold band. The result is a one-of-a-kind jewel that bridges antique artistry with modern wearability.
The face of the ring is adorned with blue guilloché enamel, its engine-turned pattern shimmering beneath translucent enamel layers. At the center, a sparkling diamond set in platinum provides a refined focal point.
Measuring approximately 0.5 inches by 0.5 inches, the ring is currently a size 6 and may be resized for an additional charge. It remains in excellent antique condition, retaining both its brilliance and intricate enamel detail.
The gold content and platinum setting have been professionally verified using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis and traditional jeweler’s acid testing, ensuring authenticity and quality.
