This stylish vintage 10 karat yellow gold ring was made at the middle of the 20th century (circa 1955). It sports a PINK, lab created, Linde star Ruby secured with 6 prongs. Linde and company (headquartered in Niagara Falls, NY) produced these stones in the 50s and 60s. it is widely accepted that they produced the finest synthetic star sapphires and Rubies with the strongest visible stars. This one is no exception. It has a beautiful strong six pointed star which is readily apparent and follows the light. The Ruby is reminiscent of spring. It could be worn daily and would make an excellent choice for an engagement ring.
The star is vivid in any light and follows the light source. Pictures do not do this gem justice.
Condition: Ring shows little to no visible wear.
