Georg Jensen Sterling Silver Comport Designed by Johan Rohde

About the Item

An elegant sterling silver comport designed by Johan Rohde (1856-1935) for Georg Jensen known as model #590. The hand hammered bowl is braced by delicate floral inspired elements, leading to a sphere contained in its centre. To the underside the piece is marked 'Dessin' (Design in Danish), 'Denmark', 'Sterling', '590', and hallmarks for Georg Jensen and Johan Rohde.
