About the Item

Set of 8 sterling silver salad forks by Georg Jensen Denmark in the Cypress pattern. Created by Tias Eckhoff, the winner of a design competition to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Georg Jensen Silversmith in 1953. The simple and modern pattern was an instant success and out-sold the best selling Acorn pattern at the time. The Cypress pattern was in production from 1954 to 1994. These forks feature tapered point end tines. Measures approx 6 3/4" long, 1 1/16" wide across tines. Weighs approx 327.2g, 210.4dwt total Marked GEORG JENSEN in a dotted oval STERLING DENMARK Very nice condition with some light tarnish and slight surface scratches. Will come packaged in a gift box or pouch (when possible) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. CL090424/17KCS
