About the Item

A fine antique silver salver or footed tray. By Robert Hennell II and Samuel Hennell. In sterling silver. Simply a great piece of antique English silver! Date: 1810 Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is a monogram removal to the center of the salver and some light dings & indentations here & there. Otherwise, there are some light surface scratches throughout and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Robert Hennell II & Samuel Hennell. Marks: Marked to the underside with Robert & Samuel's maker's mark / a lion passat for sterling / a crowned leopard for London / P for 1810 / and Victoria sovereign mark. Engraved with an apparent '6767' to the underside of the tray. Measurements: Width: ca. 12 1/2 in. Depth: ca. 9 3/8 in. Height: ca. 1 3/8 in.
