This is the watch that launched the Franck Muller line. It has Russian hall marks and was produced around the time the Czar and his family were assassinated in Ekaterinburg. The "Russian" style watch was copied by Franck Muller for his very successful line. This watch has an original and evenly patinated dial and original gilded hands as well. It appears to have the original crown also. We have just serviced this watch and offer it with our 18 month warranty. It runs well and keeps dependable enough time. I have worn it for a few days just to test it out.
Longines sold watches to the Russian houses that produced the cases and sold them under the Longines label and other house names as well such as Moser and Pavel Buhre.
