About the Item

A well presented late 19th century taxidermy adult Goose head mount, it would appear this has been produced by a good period taxidermist, possibly Rowland Ward or the like. The Goose has its original straw filled interior and would have been mounted on a shield, but sadly this has long gone, but the piece now display well without. One of the original glass eyes has cracked, but isn't loose. Apart from that is very good original condition.
