After residing in New York City for twenty years, a native Texas family decided to revisit their southern roots - they moved into a modern house on a spacious lot in the heart of West Austin. Architecturally the house is quite modern; however, Kacy Ellis Design counter balanced the stark modernity with a mixutre of materials and furniture styles to round out the clients’ aesthetic. Each room seamlessly infuses vintage elements alongside family-friendly yet luxurious furnishings. The result is a clean, happy and energetic home, filled with pieces that each have a story of their own.
