Still one of my favorite projects, my client and I felt a real synergy as we put together just the right pieces with her amazing art collection. So, art is the star, which is always A-OK with me! I blended clean lines and a modern feeling with arabesque and ethnic touches to create warmth and organic elements for interest and texture.

Instead of trying to create more light in a light challenged space, I used dark colors- chocolate brown venetian plaster, dark cabinets and black granite to build layers of richness that play up the cozy, eclectic and artistic vibe. I used lighting as impact pieces, for color and as art. The end result feels inviting, exciting and very livable.
