The initial scheme for this 18th Century farmhouse was decidedly contemporary. The choice was made to step away from the original design, and lean into the home’s 18th century roots. A timeless and more harmonious range of furnishings were sourced that, though updated in terms of palette and materials, evoked 18th century rural living. The farmhouse exudes the seamless duality of new and old, high and low, that Kara is renowned for.
