Haras of Saulnier

Country House by Isabelle Stanislas Architecture in Deauville, FR

This project consisted of the expansion of a Norman mansion on a 10 hectare site, from 250m2 of floorspace to 1000m2.

The concept for the project was the creation of harmony between the exterior Norman architecture and the new modern interiors, by focusing on smooth spaces and circulation. Concrete, steel, brick, and blacks and greens were the basis of the palette used in this redesign, which also featured the installation of art works to complement the existing space.
