The ochre and terra-cotta tones of the Mediterranean style Fountain House inspired the warm hues of Meg Braff’s “Sunset Jungle” guest bedroom. Large scale wallpaper, Braff’s own “Rainforest” in a new custom color way expands the space, and serves as the basis for the colors found throughout the suite. The centerpiece of the bedroom is a custom built parsons bed, clad in Braff’s “Beverly Hills” fabric, again in a color way designed for room. Christopher Spitzmiller lamps, Vaughan brass nightstands and vintage pieces from Meg Braff Antiques & Decoration add timeless glamour. The closet and bathroom also received a refresh, with the help of Livingston Builders of New York City and Palm Beach. In the closet, pattern play is the key, with cloth storage accessories matching the wall covering, and lucite fittings blending in as much as they stand out. The all new bathroom features Kohler fixtures and handmade Fireclay Tile on the floor and lining the shower. “Madame Butterfly” wallpaper and fabric in a cheerful apricot enlivens the room, and adds a throwback feel.
