Lighten Up

Have you ever wanted to lighten your load? That desire was the driving force in decorating a grand English manor designed by Michael G. Imber Architects in South Texas. The client wanted to keep the home from tilting to the heavy side, so we began by using lighter than expected stains and a stone flooring with a fog-like color. The furnishings are a gathering of neutrals interwoven with a thread of blue through the home. This “lighter side” approach left the home feeling easy in attitude and youthful in spirit.
