Family Home by Rachel Sloane Interiors in Scarsdale, NY
We were called on by longtime friends to help create their new home in the suburbs after living in the city for several years. With a young toddler and a second on the way, ensuring everything was family-friendly was a key driver in many decisions. Simultaneously, the couple wanted a home where hosting was made easy and the color palette was timeless. The husband, who grew up in Paris, wanted a French-inspired look and the wife was more comfortable with the laid back ease of a California style home. Where we landed was somewhere in between that felt perfectly appropriate to the home and the young family’s lifestyle.
