About the Item

A very large, astounding pastel of a beautiful woman in a veil, ex. the prestigious Arthur Roger gallery on Julia Street in New Orleans, which has shown Adrian Deckbar's work in the past (she now shows at Callan Contemporary, right up the street). If you have a large space for it, this portrait will set the mood for a whole room. Pastel is slow, as you're only working with the tip of the crayon, unlike using brushes - so I can only imagine how long this took her to create. The lining of the frame has some bad patches so it needs to be repaired or replaced, which is why we have reduced the price to leave room for this as well as for the shipping cost. Dimensions with frame: 64.5" x 44.5". Without frame, 60" x 40". Proudly presented by Guy Lyman Fine Art, New Orleans
