Hopeless is an original drawing in china ink on paper realized in 1948 by Erhard Klepper(1906-1980). hand-signed on the lower left and dated. The state of preservation is good with just small missing parts of paper on the top right of margin. Sheet dimension: 31.5 x 21cm The artwork represents a seated man and a standing woman both with deep concern are drowned in their thought, with a gloomy look and misery in their face, showing hopeless expression through soft and strong strokes, skillfully depicted with details. Erhard Klepper (1906-1980) was a German painter, draftsman, well-known for his historical fashion illustration.
