Caricatures by George Wachsteter (1911-2004) of four Broadway male stars, Sept 1946, including Lew Parker, Richard Tauber, Quentin Reynolds & Bert Lytell. As they appeared in `A Flag is Born` (Reynolds), `The Magnificent Heel` (Lytell), `The Front Page` (revival with Parker) & `Yours Is My Heart` (Tauber). The focus of the illustration is that these plays all opened the first week of Sept, 1946, with `Heel` debuting Sept 2 (and closing Sept 14) and the others opening on Sept 5.
