Self portrait is a beautiful pen drawing on paper, realized in 1993 by the French artist Pierre Lagénie (1938-2020).
Hand-signed and dedicated on the lower right margin.
The work is glued on cardboard. Total dimensions: 50 x 35.5 cm.
In very good conditions.
Pierre Lagénie was a French sculptor. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, and joined Marcel Gimond's studio at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris in 1957. He worked with bronze and his main source of inspiration was the female form.
