The obsessive stroke of graphite transforms a square of Albanene paper into something that appears or simulates to be a metal piece.
Part of a series of more than two hundred graphite squares, the artist approaches the topic of eroticism using different media to represent it. In these pieces, she is interested in drawing and hypnotic postures that simulate forms of desire. Desire is suggested through repetitive gestures: the hand rubbing the paper, touching it, caressing it.
