Folio, loose as issued in the original wrappers and linen-covered slipcase, preserved in a cloth folding box. Paris: Société Internationale d'art XXe Siècle, 1974. $2500.00 Masson and Jouffroy corresponded for over twenty years before this book was produced as a result of their friendship. It is a kind of homage to Lautreamont's Chants de Maldoror. One of an edition of 175. Signed by Jouffroy and Masson. This copy is No. 5 of 75 that were to include an additional suite on Japon, lacking in this copy.
