About the Item
A stunning Ormolu with twin photograph / picture frame from the early 19th century, French in origin with an unusual and rare solid bronze background with gilded ornate garland and ribbon flowers framing the twin oval openings for the pictures. Two oval picture apertures measure approximately 2" x 3" in diameter with a gilded bronze bezel. The overall measurement is 8 1/2" w x 7 1/2" tall x 1" thick.
