Brooch with Cameo and Micromosaic Late 19th century - early 20th century Materials: Shell cameo, micromosaic in glass tesserae, metal alloy (likely brass) Central cameo depicting a female bust carved on shell, surrounded by a micromosaic frame composed of small glass tesserae arranged in geometric and floral patterns. The combination of cameo and micromosaic is rare and represents a distinctive decorative production of the period. The FAP stamp on the reverse refers to the Fabrica Angelo Pesaresi workshop, active on Ponte Vecchio in Florence and specializing in micromosaics and cameos. Condition: Good, with natural oxidation on the reverse. Made in late 19th- early 20th century workshop of Angelo Pesaresi, Ponte Vecchio, Florence.
