A strikingly colourful and energetic abstract expressionist work. An explosion of forms and colour crisscross the space. Much in the vein of Jackson Pollock this artist encourages the viewer to immerse themselves in a wonderfully complex mass of colour and form and then make what they will of it. The artist purposefully signs only to the reverse side of the painting so that it can be hung either portrait or landscape according to how the viewer wishes to experience it.
The artist Albino Palamara was born in the cradle of Magna Graecia, in Africa (RC) in 1966 and, at a very young age, he moved with his family to Zagarolo.
A multifaceted artist, Albino Palamara has many artistic talents: simultaneously painter, sculptor, graphic designer, mosaicist, illustrator and designer.
Thanks to the family influence rich in innate artistic talent and after having successfully attended the art 'high school' in Rome, he began working as an artist with his particularly unique trait of aesthetics and colour.
Through the use of the most disparate materials, which are not just recycled but represent the process of collecting, repurposing and then offering to others, similar to the path between life, death and the figurative rebirth of Greek tragedy, he manages to capture the deeper aspects of post-modern man between a past rich in human history and a future that is still nebulous and full of unknowns, in clear provocation towards today's consumer society.

A few words of the artist about his art:
When i painting landscapes, I usually choose simple geometric arrangements, contrasts of verticals and levels. I juxtapose the smooth surface of the sky with the rough texture of earth or grass.
I paint symmetrical reflections in water and rhythmic repetitions of trees. Even an ordinary, seemingly uninteresting fragment of the suburban landscape hides a beauty that I want to see and then transfer to the canvas.
I am inspired by nature because it contains a hidden secret of existence. For me, painting it is a reflection on life and passing away. It is an attempt to capture the imperceptible essence, to paint what cannot be seen.
I think that my paintings can be a respite, an antidote for a man tired of technology, constant rush, hustle and bustle of the city.

Style : In Hindu philosophy, the 'Antahkaran' refers to the totality of two levels of mind , namely the Buddhi, the intellect or higher mind, and the Manas, the middle levels of mind which exist as or include the mental body. It refers to the entire psychological process, including mind and emotions. Ghoshal’s paintings weaves an Antahkaran, creating structural spaces, sometimes meditative & melancholic in nature. His contemplative mind, enters into the inner realm of reality, dissects it and extracts a kind of mystic silence.
The extant contemplative in wardress in him got charged with meditative spirituality through his association with this heritage city. Benaras, started flowing in his canvasses both through landscapes and human faces. Since 1995-96 his Benaras paintings started transforming. Initially his landscapes contained reflection of naturalness transformed through melancholic chiaroscuro. Gradually the naturalness started disintegrating into expressionistic structures. At a certain stage during 2004-05 some of these structures yielded into abstractions shedding all the links with naturalness. Then again the sign-symbols integrated into geometrical structures reflecting traces of original locations.
About the Artist and his works :
Born : Born in 1965. Tapas spent his childhood and early youth in the quiet idyllic environment of rural Bengal. The soothing lyrical landscape and the intrinsic mythical past within the rural life made a great impact in his inner being, which aroused in him love for beauty, spiritual in nature, making him contemplative and inward looking.
Educational Qualification :
1989 : Graduation in Painting from Govt.College of Art and Craft, Kolkata (First Class First)
1992 : Post Graduate in Painting from Benaras Hindu University, Varanasi (First Class).
