• Signed ' HODEL' and dated (19)69 bottom right corner
What a great phantom of its time – Exciting shapes and lines, creating a dreamy psychedelic landscape. Take some time and explore all the hidden shapes, figures, faces and bizarre, grotesque forms that can be found in this magnificent and exciting, expertly crafted vintage painting.
To date I have not been able to identify the talented Swiss/Bern area artist and other than an abstract portrait, also signed Hodel, which passed through my hands some years ago, his/her work doesn’t really turn up on the market.
