Description of the Painting “Free Fall” This artwork presents a unique interpretation of the sensation of free falling, created from a photograph of the artist himself. The composition is divided into two distinct parts that seemingly contrast two different realities. The left side of the painting depicts trees and roots—a symbol of connection to the earth, the physical world, and stability. In contrast, the right side unveils a celestial space, referencing ideas from quantum physics, where particles can exist in multiple states simultaneously. This principle symbolizes the artist’s inner complexity, reflecting his ability to inhabit various states and roles at once. Philosophically, the painting invokes Eastern teachings, where the triad of Earth, Sky, and Humanity forms the harmony of the universe. The Earth represents the foundation that provides life and stability, the Sky symbolizes freedom, inspiration, and infinity, while Humanity exists in between, balancing the material and spiritual realms. The interplay of geometric shapes adds a sense of reality being fragmented into individual elements, which together create a balance between different aspects of life and space.
