About the Item
The central work of the exhibition was the painting "Theatre of the Heart", which depicts the classic plot of the swimsuit, which runs through the entire history of art. In this work, Igor explores the symbolism of the theater as a metaphor for our world. "Theatre of the Heart" contains masks, transformations, a play with light and color, which creates a deep space for visual and conceptual experiments.
In his work, the artist turns to classical plots, continuing the traditions of such masters as Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Mark Rothko de Kooning, Pablo Picasso and others. He takes their heritage as a basis, rethinking it in the context of contemporary art.
The author writes works with the principle of fractal progression: he places special rhythms in each individual element of the picture, which are essentially already complete abstractions, and these abstractions in their unity create an already recognizable form for the eye, so the author recommends viewing both at close and long distances, which will provide a full visual experience from the exhibition.
“Rhythms of Light” is an invitation to the world of color, form and energy. Each picture breathes the rhythm of life, revealing to the audience the harmony that can be found in everything, even in unexpected moments.
