About the Item

Abstract Landscape is an original contemporary artwork realized by Maria Asnago. Signed in the bottom right. Hand signed on the back. Mario Asnago. A renewed architect and painter, he collaborated with Claudio Vender. The first works carried out together are projects for the Monuments to the Fallen in Como. In 1928, after becoming architect, he opened the "Studio Asnago-Vender". Their outstanding creations are part of the rationalist movement of the Thirties, which influende the Architecture at international level until 1950s/60s. He developed his interest for painting between 1950s and 1960s.
