Inspired by my love of the ocean. Various tones of turquoise with gold highlights.
Environmental Visionary; The gorgeous North Shore of MA is surrounded by Beautiful beaches. Due to the Global warming many of the beaches are eroding, but we still have the Beautiful Ocean right by our side.

Artist Biography:
Melissa lives in a world where everyday is a creative and magical adventure full of color. Art came into Melissa's world full time after being laid off from her corporate sales job in January 2012. After her father’s death is 2013, Melissa started painting, art journaling, and playing with mixed media as a way of healing. As a creative artist, her work has been featured at the Newburyport Art Association, Chelmsford Art Association, SOWA Art Market in Boston, MA, Greenway Open Market in Boston, MA, Boston Arts Festival, Central Flea in Cambridge, MA, Squam Art Fair in Holderness NH, and the Providence Flea in Providence, RI. When Melissa is not creating some sort of magical art, you can find her at the local art museum, thrift store/flea market or walking her rescued pointer/hound, Samson, in Newburyport. Melissa’s passion for color, texture & the ocean spills open in her art. Her love of travel inspires her work including trips to Costa Rica, Morocco, Italy, San Miguel, Mexico and Portugal. Melissa currently works out of her studio at the Artists’ Muse in Amesbury, MA and facilitates expressive art workshops.
