This is a piece in my Memory Stones series. These are inspired by rocks and pebbles I collected while sitting at the lake one day, listening to the soft lapping of waves coming in and out. The texture mimics the jagged yet elegant edges of each stone.

About the Artist
Abstract artist and Tennessee-native Morgan Fite paints delicate compositions that allude to natural forms and changing light. She paints with neutral tones and feathery brushstrokes that give her art its soft and dreamlike quality. She is inspired by her travels and cites the earthy tones of Central Africa and the textures of Roman architecture as particularly influential.
