About the Item

This was an ambedo kind of love, one that soaked into my soul slowly and all at once. Two hearts awakened different parts of me, and in loving them both, I lived in the in-between. One made me feel seen. The other made me feel alive. But love, no matter how wide it spreads, eventually asks for a home. And I had to ask myself, which love keeps me grounded, and which only wants to burn bright before fading away? Loving two people at the same time, it's a feeling that can be both beautiful and heartbreaking. I'd like to call it bittersweet. It's the realization that two different souls can awaken different parts of you. It's messy and confusing because one might make you feel at home, and the other one feels like a wildfire. They both bring you something you haven't felt before, the exciting experience of being able to be seen and felt to your core. Your ability to love more than one soul isn't a burden; it's a blessing. But the complicated part is that you can't be with them both, you need to measure the value between both and know: what kind of love do you need to build the life you want? What kind of love makes you feel most safe and unafraid? Who makes you feel seen and loves you for exactly that? Who chooses you, for you, and not the thrill of it all? It's not the love that stays that sparks the most excitement; it's the love that grows with you, the love that keeps you alive, and finds you when you feel lost. The love that doesn't ever stop giving, enduring, and doesn't need any grand gestures to prove it. It's patient, kind, and genuine. The love for you sees you at your rawest and loves you more fiercely for it. Artist Statement In the depths of our being, we often encounter feelings that are too profound to articulate, emotions that swirl like shadows, whispering secrets that linger just beyond the edges of understanding. My work seeks to embrace these complex feelings, giving them a canvas to breathe, shift, and resonate. My paintings generally explore the psycho-emotional aspect of everyday life. As the mind exists without form, the body acts as a window into the mind. I tried to focus on the not-so-obvious feelings. I want to tell truths that you can see only if you care to look inward and pay attention to the details. The cyclical motifs and fading gradients in my works convey the endless flow of time, where individual lives are fleeting moments in a greater continuum. Life doesn’t wait for you to be alright; it just keeps going like an endless circle. Each piece I create reflects my journey through the labyrinth of human experience. I explore the beauty and turmoil of emotions that can feel isolating yet are universally shared. With paint, textures, and colors, I invite viewers to confront their depths and recognize that the feelings they carry are valid and significant. I hope that when you stand before my work, you find a connection that transcends words, a reminder that you are not alone in your struggles and triumphs. These pieces are a testament to resilience, a visual embrace that assures us all that we will be fine in the end. Together, let us navigate the intricacies of our emotions and celebrate the profound strength that comes from vulnerability.
