About the Item

In this series, Perrine explores the profound relationship between light and color, both essential elements in her artistic expression. Without light, there would be no colors, and it is through the interplay of both that she seeks to communicate emotions and sensations. This collection marks a shift toward a more abstract approach, allowing her to dive deeper into a personal and emotional space. Through this abstraction, she aims to diffuse light and color in a way that connects on a more intimate level, inviting the viewer to feel, rather than simply see, the essence of each piece. Nature and elements (fire, earth, water and air) are also a huge source of inspiration for these paintings. Details: Title: Where to Swim Medium: Acrylic Painting and Oil Crayon on Watercolor Paper Size: 100x70 cm , (40x28 inches) Year: 2024 * Frame is for illustrative purposes only. Artwork shipped carefully rolled and packaged in a tube. * Certificate of Authenticity provided. Perrine Honoré (Grasse, 1993) is a French artist, illustrator, and muralist. She has studied Fashion Design (Sweden), Graphic Design (EPSAA, Paris) and has a Master’s Degree in Design and Communication (Elisava, Barcelona). Painting and illustration are the grounds where she feels more comfortable, as it allows her more freedom to express herself and expand her ideas through semi-abstract forms and vibrant colors. Although she works in several fields such as street art, textile design, art direction, branding, and jewelry, her paintings are what elevate her creative world in the most compelling and stimulating ways. Through a festive color palette, a youthful aesthetic, and an elegant collection of shapes, she builds a fascinating universe where fantasy and spontaneity prevail.

Commemorate, Original Contemporary Red, White, and Blue Abstract Painting
Located in Boston, MA
Commemorate, Original Contemporary Red, White, and Blue Abstract Painting, 2022 30" x 48" x 1.5" (HxWxD) Acrylic and Ink on Canvas A vibrant color palette of blues, reds, and greens flows across the canvas in abstracted forms that imply the movement of water. It looks as though you are looking up at a distorted image through the movement of the ocean overhead. The red, white, and blue color scheme invokes a patriotic feel, as if you are spending the 4th of July on a lake. Artist Commentary: 30 x 48 x 1.5” gallery wrapped with painted edges. Acrylic and Ink on canvas. This is one in my series of emotionally charged coastal abstract artworks. I used saturated vibrant colors and powerful brush strokes, as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression. Materials: Professional acrylic paints and canvas. Finished with a glaze of UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust damage. My art pieces are held in private and commercial collections around the world, including the UK, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Asia, France, Canada, Australia and USA. Margaret Juul...
