Rachael is a contemporary painter based at Rogue Artists’ studios in Manchester - a leading studio community of over 80 artists. Her formative years were spent between the Lake District and Asia and remain a key influence on her artistic processes, chosen pigments and overall aesthetic. Following a degree in Fine Art, Addis completed the three year Postgraduate programme at the Royal Academy of Arts Schools in London.
Having dedicated much of her early career to teaching at degree level and in Further Education, she took a break from art to raise two boys. Beginning to paint seriously again in 2018, Addis is now exhibiting widely and exploring new ways of creating as a re-emerging artist.
