"Lover's Quarrel" is a large abstract expressionist oil painting on thick canvas by popular artist, Trixie Pitts. This exuberant, uplifting painting never gets boring. "After returning from a trip to the Outback in Australia where I found some natural ochre pigments in a small town called Kunnanurra, I came back and did this painting. To me, I can see how I was thinking of the bright ochre of the Outback and of the Aboriginal cave drawings and paintings!" - Trixie The palette is warm with beautiful pink and rose colors mingling with transparent golden abber and muted tan, with a lively charcoal line. **Due to size, shipped carefully ROLLED in a FedEx box, where it can then be easily re-stretched on a thick stretcher by any framer, with further framing then optional. The 1.5" edge is painted white and there is extra canvas to staple on back. Certificate of Authenticity.
