This oil painting is based on a pitcher full of flowers that I normally adorn in my own home. Named after the namesake my grandchildren call me, Gagee's Red Pitcher is close to my heart and a remembrance of the colorful flowers that would liven up my home. Now, this 30x24 oil painting can liven up your home as well.
I intuitively paint each of my paintings based on my mood of the day or at that moment. I never know what I am going to create until I see the end result. Sometimes it is a colorful, jumbled mess. Or, I create bright and vibrant landscapes full of wildflowers or flowing waters. I appreciate the beauty of whatever happens as I did not know what I was going to create before I start.
