ARTIST: Unsigned Early 20th Century Continental School
TITLE: "Abstract Compositions" (a pair)

CONDITION: very good, small area of canvas rippling to one
NOTES: These are a very interesting pair of early 20th Century abstracts. They came from a very very nice collection of works from a deceased estate which we purchase recently. The canvas size suggests they are continental and they are unusually early as you can see from the backs of the canvas. They came in the frames on show which are of a good quality more recent addition some 20 years ago. The paintings are very reminiscent of Nicolas De Stael or similar and certainly of the period. The canvas sizes are 7" x 10 3/4" and the slightly different sized one is 10 1/2' x 7 1/4". Very genuine works - 100% assured and guaranteed.
