Zona Lorraine Wheeler, a native of Kansas, was an accomplished artist with a passion for capturing the natural world. She studied under the guidance of renowned artist Birger Sandzen at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, and further honed her skills at the Wichita Art Association School and the American Academy of Art in Chicago. Wheeler’s career spanned several decades, during which she developed a unique approach to landscape painting, blending abstraction with a deep appreciation for nature’s beauty.
