Walter Robin Jennings was a distinguished British artist, best known for his tranquil rural scenes featuring game birds and countryside animals. Born in Old Hill, Staffordshire, in 1927, Jennings was largely self-taught, developing a deep appreciation for the landscapes and wildlife that would later define his work.
In 1960, he became a full-time artist, specialising in oils and watercolours that captured the beauty of the English countryside. His work gained considerable recognition, leading to exhibitions with prestigious institutions such as the Royal Cambrian Academy of Art (RCamA), the New English Art Club (NEAC), the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI), and the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA). He also exhibited at The Game Fair and held solo shows across London, regional galleries, the United States, and Europe.
