Each piece encapsulates the raw emotions of vulnerability, humility, and reliance on the unseen forces that shape our lives. Whether through abstract symbolism or intricate representations."
About the Artist:
Esther Oyeyemi is a distinctive multidisciplinary contemporary female artist hails from Ibadan Oyo State Nigeria in April 1995. She's an aptitude artist who discovered her passion for art right from childhood and since then been practicing using different medium as a form of expression. She works predominantly with acrylic as she documents memories from her childhood experiences. Esther believes that every child is unique and all should have equal access to the basic things of life. Esther obtained Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 2017 as a certified painter and graphic artist from the revered Emmanuel Alayande College of Education Oyo. She also earned her Bachelor's Degree in 'Fine Art Education' at Obafemi Awolowo University, 2022. Esther has participated both in virtual and actual exhibition such as : Lasgidi art exhibition, Lagos 2021, Art Arising virtual exhibition (alliance51) 2021, Emerged as one of the top 100 Nigerian artist that participated in Life in my city art exhibition, 2022.

Esther Oyeyemi is a distinctive multidisciplinary contemporary artist who bridges personal memory and universal themes. Born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, in April 1995, her passion for art was evident from a young age, leading her to experiment with diverse mediums of expression. Esther's art profoundly explores dualism, identity, and memory, often reflecting her childhood experiences. She uses acrylics to craft vivid narratives that blur the boundaries between the tangible and the intangible, inviting viewers to engage with the dialogue between the subconscious and the environment. Esther holds a Nigerian Certificate in Education in painting and graphic arts from Emmanuel Alayande College of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Fine and Applied Arts Education from Obafemi Awolowo University. Her work has been featured in several exhibitions, including the Lasgidi Art Exhibition, the Art Arising Virtual Exhibition by Alliance51, and the Life in My City Art Festival, where she emerged among the top 100 Nigerian artists in 2022.
