Bernard Harmon was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1935. Harmon was primarily a portrait painter and a well loved teacher in the Philadelphia area. A graduate of the Philadelphia Museum School and Temples Tyler School of Art, Harmon traveled extensively in Europe and South America. Beloved by many, Harmon taught in the Philadelphia School District for 32 of his 54 years of life. Beginning his career as an art teacher at West Philadelphia High School, in the early 1960s he became one of the district's artists in residence, traveling from school to school to demonstrate for students how an artist works. Returning to the classroom, Harmon joined the art department at Central High School where he taught for 14 years and became an innovator in art curriculum, developing a program offering advanced placement art classes to gifted students. In his final years Harmon became a supervisor, mentoring teachers and overseeing programs in the Philadelphia school systems District #1. During his short life Harmon taught collage preparatory art classes at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, summer classes at the University of the Arts, and a Saturday program for gifted children at Drexel University. Among Harmon's portraits were commissioned by Philadelphia Jazz organist Jimmy Smith and Mayor Richardson Dilworth. "I consider myself a ‘Fusionist’, because I merge styles that inspire me, while playing with the fusion of East and West. I combine orientalism and primitivism with western cubist principles and the expressionists’ use of colour, to create bright and vibrant figurative images." - Amanda Watt
Amanda Watt was born in Northern Ireland in 1960, and graduated from the Belfast College of Art and Design in 1982. Just three years out of University, while living in London, Amanda was discovered by top film director Barry Levinson, who invited her to Malibu to paint from his beach house for six months. From this moment, her art took off, and she spent the next twenty years building a successful career in California, making her way into collections of many key LA directors, producers, galleries, and film stars.
With annual solo shows in LA, San Francisco and New York, Amanda's bright, vibrant landscapes, interior scenes, and her semi-abstract figurative paintings have became a staple of Californian society. Watt's key collectors include casino mogul Steve Wynn, cultural ambassador Vanessa Branson, former president of Ireland Mary Robinson, and fashion-designer Marla Ginsburg. Her work is held in key global collections including: Allied Irish Bank, Dublin; ARCO Corporation, California, and Nagi Corporation in Tokyo.
In 2006, Amanda was burnt out by the sheer volume of work expected of her by these galleries, and took a step back, exhibiting just occasionally until her return to her native Ireland in 2015. Amanda now lives and works in Dromara, Northern Ireland.
Artist Statement;
"I am influenced by the pattern-making of Gustav Klimt and the highly stylised figures of Tom Wesselman and Alex Katz, as well as Rainer Fetting's use of bold colour and gestural brushstrokes. Japanese woodblock prints and Gauguin's Tahitian women have also inspired me, while the bright Californian colours of David Hockney and the decisive curves of Matisse are clearly recognisable in my work.
I favour acrylic paint, which allows a fast pace of work with spontaneous gestures. Transparent washes precede bold primary colours to create depth and vibrancy. Multiple motifs, all from memory or imagination, are peppered throughout my work: highly stylised furniture; a picture within a picture; a torso - fragmented parts that on their own don't necessarily make sense, carefully placed to create a balanced whole."

Gleb Alexandrovich Savinov was born in Ukraine and spent part of his childhood in Saratov. His father, Alexander Ivanovich Savinov (1881–1942), a talented painter, draftsman and teacher, was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. In 1922 they moved from Saratov to Petrograd. In 1928-1930 Savinov started working in the studio of his father while still attending school. In 1934, after graduating from high school he enrolled at the painting department of the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where he studied with, among many others, Alexander Osmerkin. In 1940 Savinov graduated and married his classmate and talented artist Olga Bogaevskaya. This happy family and creative union lasted sixty years. Since that year Gleb Savinov participated in art exhibitions with portraits, historical and genre paintings, landscapes, interior scenes, still lives. Amanda Watt was born in Northern Ireland in 1960, and graduated from the Belfast College of Art and Design in 1982. Just three years out of University, while living in London, Amanda was discovered by top film director Barry Levinson, who invited her to Malibu to paint from his beach house for six months. From this moment, her art took off, and she spent the next twenty years building a successful career in California, making her way into collections of many key LA directors, producers, galleries, and film stars.

Kristīne Luīze Avotiņa is a young and bright personality whose talent is appreciated not only in Latvia, but also in other parts of the world. Her deep inner experiences and feelings of the soul are not hidden from the eyes of the audience, but are openly and engagingly narrated: about relationships, man and woman, passion, emotions, about experience and connection with nature.
Characters live in Kristine's compositional solutions, where figurative painting and ornament appear. When painting large-format works, she masters the entire format, composition and color of the work, as well as linear drawing.
Kristīne herself emphasizes: "Relationships between nature and people - it has always been a relevant topic in my painting. The more I work on it, the more interesting it seems to me. It is infinite and unending. With paint I refresh the beauty of nature and love on the canvas and I want to show that nature and love are equal in their beauty.
In my works, I always want to show that nature is beautiful and worthy of admiration - a newly blooming water lily, falling leaves from golden trees, a pink sunset sky... This could go on forever..."
