About the artist: After growing up on the banks of the Dordogne , in 1975 he became a theater actor and musician in a group formed in Clermont-Ferrand . In the early 1980s , he moved to Marseille where he began his career as a painter, after observing a watercolor artist on the Place aux Huiles . Self-taught, he paints in his cellar, drawing inspiration from the painters Nicolas de Staël and William Turner . He sells his first watercolors on the quays of the Old Port of Marseille, and Cassis . He then moved to Paris, where he continued painting.
