He exhibited 85 works at the Art Institute of Chicago between 1898 and 1925, earning recognition for his mastery of light and atmospheric depth. His work was also shown at the Swedish-American Art Association, the Chicago Society of Artists, and the Palette and Chisel Club, with honors including the Clyde M. Carr Prize (1914).
